Md Tajul Islam is a Validation and Integration Engineer at General Motors. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the Computer Networking and Communication Systems under the affiliation of the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering department of the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). Prior to this, he received his MS degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Telecommunication and Computer Networking from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), US, in 2019 and his BS degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh, in 2011. He worked at the Samsung R&D Institute of Bangladesh as a software engineer until mid-2015. His research interests include the broad area of networking and communications, with specific emphasis on optimized management of wireless networks, software-defined networking and machine-learning applications in wireless communications.
